Worcestershire Schools Search Tool – Catchment Area

If you live in Worcestershire and want to know if a certain house is in the catchment area for your preferred choice of school, Worcestershire County Council has a Postcode Search which enables parents/carers to check the catchment schools for a specific address and postcode

General Notes Regarding Application

Please be aware:

• All parents/carers must apply for a school place for their child (they will NOT automatically be allocated a place at their catchment school)
• Living in a school’s catchment area does not guarantee that your child will be allocated a place at the school – if the number of available places is less than the number of children living in the catchment area who are due to start school, places will be allocated according to the Worcestershire School Admissions Oversubscription Criteria
• Places at maintained schools are strictly allocated according to the relevant Local Authority’s criteria – they are NOT allocated on a first come, first served’ basis
