Feedback and Assessment.

At Hagley Primary School, we believe that responsive teaching ensures that children make excellent progress are and given the appropriate stretch, challenge and support. We recognise that this requires a relies on the teaching staff using formative assessment strategies within and across a series of lessons. Due to this, we have created a feedback policy which highlights the importance of immediate and live marking and feedback as well as more summative opportunities at the end of a sequence of learning. As the children become older, their ability to respond to feedback changes which is why, as a school, we have implemented a feedback policy across individual phases.
