Admissions

Believe, Achieve, Together We Succeed

Admissions at Hagley Primary School

As a Local Authority Maintained School, all our admissions are managed by Worcestershire County Council’s School Admissions department. For information about applying for a Reception place or to transfer to this school, as well as to apply for a school place, please visit https://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/council-services/childrens-services/schools-education-and-learning/apply-school-place.

If you have missed the deadline for Reception applications, you will need to visit www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions or telephone: 01905 844111 to request an application form for a late entry.

General Notes Regarding Admissions Applications

Please be aware:

  • All parents/carers must apply for a school place for their child (they will NOT automatically be allocated a place at their catchment school)
  • Living in a school’s catchment area does not guarantee that your child will be allocated a place at the school – if the number of available places is less than the number of children living in the catchment area who are due to start school, places will be allocated according to the Worcestershire County Council’s School Admissions Oversubscription Criteria
  • Places at maintained schools are strictly allocated according to the relevant Local Authority’s criteria – they are NOT allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis

Worcestershire Schools Search Tool – Catchment Area

If you live in Worcestershire and want to know if a certain house is in the catchment area for your preferred choice of school, Worcestershire County Council has a Postcode Search which enables parents/carers to check the catchment schools for a specific address and postcode

Once on the above website page, click on the ‘School Search’ link on the left hand menu (or the ‘Catchment Areas Search’ link in the body of the main page)
